I am flying from London Heathrow to Newark NYC. I have checked their baggage policy online but it contradicts itself in several places. I want to know if i can check in two pieces of luggage free of charge and take on one piece of carry on.

Many Thanks
p.s i don’t really want to call the airline as all their contact numbers are based in the US and I really don’t fancy running up a huge bill :-O and there is no information about contacting them via email.

Yes, both items need to be within the 23kg (50lb)weight limit, and 62 linear inches for total length + width + height. Your carry on must be no heavier than 18kg (40lb) and 51 linear in (L+W+H).

I always see the Continental Airline commercials on TV, and they are always bragging about their airline. I never hear any of the Other Airlines gragging. Does Continental Airlines does anything different then the other airlines, and why do they always bragg an the other airlines don’t? Just curious.

There was a survey done in a 2006 U.S. Consumer Report. According to the statistics, Jet Blue was the BEST airline to travel, following Air New Zealand and Alaska Airlines.

Continental Airlines ranked around 5th place for best airline to travel on with American Airlines, United, and Southwest Airlines at the bottom of the list.

However, research shows most people do not typically look for the "airline" when traveling, particularly if its not international. Most passengers look for the best affordable rates and go from there.

i’m taking a flight newark to mumbai nonstop. Does anyone know if they will serve Indian food on the plane and will they show bollywood or hollywood films? And is the plane/flight nice? Better or worse than air india?

i have flown by Delta - NY to MUM it was good.
thr were films, games etc. no idea abt Continental.

I will by flying continental airlines next week intenationaly in route to Israel. It is a VERY long flight. Does anyone know if they have added internet access to these flights yet. i would be a very nice way to kill the time.

Continentals 777s are do not have internet, but they do have movies on demand and power ports to plug your laptop in.

im taking a flight on continental airlines on saturday. i want to know if i can bring it on as a carry on because there is a $15 fee to check it in and i dont have a bag to bring it in. i need an answer asap!
MY MOM JUST CALLED CONTINENTAL AND THEY SAID I COULD BRING IT AS A CARRY ON.

You can tell check-in staff I said it was OK!

For a 15 year old traveling alone. They do not consider than an unaccompanied minor, but is there any type of identification they require, for proof that they are 15?
You can travel alone at any age 5+. What I am asking, is when I go to the check-in booth, are they going to ask for any ID like they do for adults(since I am not technically an unaccompanied minor)? Since the only ID I have is school ID.

If you are traveling inside the USA you don’t need an ID unless you are 18 or older:

However, it’s easier with an ID. Most states issue a "state ID card" at the same office as driving licenses, and it’s usually a same-day process.

If you are traveling internationally you need a passport.

I want to be a flight attendant but I’m stuck I have no clue weather to work for Continental or Delta?

On trips this spring, we flew on both, and as customers, preferred Continental.

The are USA based airlines, and both are fierce competitors with each other and American Airlines.

I am looking to book a multi-city flight on Continental Airlines. Does anyone have an promotional codes to share?

not I, sorry!

Im flying from edinburgh to newark in 2 days and am confused about the website. I know i am allowed 2 suitcases but do they have to come to 50lbs or 50lbs each case? Any information would be a big help as i have to pack asap! Thanks very much :)
You have a total of 100 lbs, but each individual bag can only be up to 50 lbs. http://www.continental.com/web/en-us/content/travel/baggage/check.aspx

Probably not, since Florida has no state income tax. Conceivably it’s cheaper to live in Florida, Texas, and Nevada since there’s no state income tax.
