I gave up my seat on a flight coming home from college, and I got a $250 flight voucher, but I have misplaced it since I have gotten home. If I contact American Airlines, can they get me a new flight voucher that I can use, or am I out of luck?

Lately I feel American airlines staff is terrible, and the snacks they offer are newsstand snacks. and they only ask you once if you are thirsty. At least United has snack boxes with crackers and salami.
What do you guys think?
If you’re intent on sticking with a legacy airline, Continental is the best domestic legacy left. They still serve meals at mealtime for flights over 2 hours. A recent customer service call was also quite possible the most pleasant customer service call experience to ANY company in any industry I have made in a very long while.

Pet never come on the regular conveyor belts.. Normally they’re brought to the same place– usually called "odd sized"– where things like pets, golf clubs, surfboards and such would be delivered.. Odd sized is usually near or beside the regular baggage belts..
Just ask where is "odd size" baggage..
This does assume your pet is moving as baggage and NOT freight/cargo.. Freight and/or cargo is delivered to the airlines freight or cargo building which is usually at a different part of the airport, not attached to the regular passenger terminals.
I’m planning to travel to Texas this Christmas on American Airlines, and I have a 4 year old daughter. Obviously, she still sits in a child seat in the car, but is she required to in an airplane?
Car seats are never required but always a good idea.
I’m a former Flight Attendant and I bring my 5 year old’s car seat on the plane with us when we fly. Why? Checking a car seat is a bad idea. It can easily be lost and/or broken in transit. Children are also calmer and sleep better in their familiar seat.
If you use it on board, it will not count against your carry-on. It must be FAA approved but almost all 5 point harnessed seats sold in the U.S. are. The FAA also allows car seats to be used as long as the child still fits it (our seat goes to about age 6).

Booster seats, or any seats which need a shoulder belt, are not allowed, including seats which "convert". Just to give an example, the Graco Nautilus is only approved when using the internal harness.

There is a car seat alternative, the "restraint device" you may have been referring to. The CARES harness pictured above is useful is you do not need to bring your car seat with you (i.e. someone has one you can use in Texas). They can be bought or rented on Ebay and Craigslist. Again, this item makes the flight safer but is not required.

I am 35 year old pregnant woman. I am looking for the most comfortable 8 hour flight. I heard American Airlines upgraded their seats. I am looking for ONLY " bed" or " cabin"seats where I would feel more comfortable. if anyone knows for sure, please let me know. I appreciate.
They are more comfortable than coach. They lie back farther and are wider. They also give you much more leg room.

Im planning on visiting a friend stationed in Spangdahlem. But i do not know how to go about gettin there. Taxi sounds to expensive.. and He says Frankfurt is the closest airport to him. But i fly American Airlines, and i dont see a close connection? Can anyone help me? And also trying to see whats an easier way of gettin there other then a taxi? Train, buses? any ideas?
American flies direct to Frankfort. From there you will have to catch Deutsche Bahn (national train system) from the Frankfort International Airport terminal. You can get on the intercity train right at the airport - for information/tickets, go to the train information section in the airport, or ‘DB’ station, as it’s called. (The international sign for information, ‘i’, will be posted just outside the office.)
At the information office, purchase a ticket to SPEICHER and be sure to ask which gate to catch your train at. From the Frankfurt Airport, you will take the train to KOBLENZ. At KOBLENZ you will change trains, taking the one to TRIER. At TRIER, you will have to change trains once more…catch the next one to SPEICHER, then get off at that stop. The conductors usually do not announce each stop, so you will have to watch out the window for the town sign as you’re pulling up to each stop. From SPEICHER, take a taxi to SPANGDAHLEM (there is only one taxi service in Speicher; telephone numbers are: 06562-1051/06562-930090 or car phone number 0172-6954535). You will need approximately 73 Deutsch Marks per person for the entire train ride, and about 22-27 Deutsch Marks for the taxi ride (if you want to, you can add one or two DMs in for a tip). Dollars can be converted at the airport if necessary. If you choose this option, be sure to save your receipts for your travel voucher.
Does American Airlines have a reputation for losing checked-in luggage?
Not that I know of. I fly AA all the time, I’ve never had a problem w/ them
