I would like to fly from LA to Salt Lake City. What is the best low cost airlines that anyone would know it is safest, comfortable and also on time. thanks for helping me.

I would say it is all about chance. There isn’t one airline that is consistantly cheaper than others.

How no frills and low cost domestic airlnes, together with the different type of aircraft used for their various operationhas contributed to the growth of aviation in the country. Critically examine report and justify with reference to cost, comfort and convinenece whether ur findings are valid?

Why do I have the feeling that this is a homework assignement that you are trying to avoid doing by cribbing the rantings of strangers. You are just lucky that I didn’t feed you a ton of BS as I sometimes do other cheats.

So why do many low cost airlines use them

Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System = thats basically the black-box which allows the radio team to communicate with the pilot?

Why should they eliminate these things?

Is someone suggesting that they be eliminated?

Autothrottle and ACARS are not required (in the U.S.). Smaller aircraft may not be equipped with either, and some older large airliners don’t have them, either. Both are more conveniences rather than necessities. Autothrottles decrease pilot fatigue and workload and may improve fuel economy. ACARS is mostly a logistic and operational convenience.

What are some low-cost airlines that fly from LAX area to London? 10 points to best answer.
How about low-cost airlines to JFK or surrounding areas?

AirCanada

get tickets at AIRCANADA.COM its really cheap to london. thats what i did , and from chicago to london i got em for 500$ taxes and fees and all that.

how easy jet compete with other low cost airlines ?

Did you mean "How does Easyjet compare with others"? The real issue surely is "does Easyjet fly from where I want to go from to where I want to go to?" There is not a great deal to choose between any of them other than convenience of departure point and going to your choice of destination. All of them make their money with the extras and these range from charging you for checking in at the airport rather than online to charges for checked baggage and overweight items. Look on them all as an airborne bus service and then choose the timetable that suits your needs, read the small print to avoid the extra charges and you will be fine.

Does any1 know of a low cost airlines that flies from Hong Kong to Kuala Lumper in Malaysia..have tried all the obvious ones like Air Asia etc but no luck..
Sri Lanka airlines don’t even fly to KL..thanks!

Hello. I’m a travel agent so I know my stuff plus I’ve been to KL.
So jealous you’re going!
Malaysian Airlines and Cathay Pacific operate flights between the two places. Have a look at both websites and see which is the cheapest.
Dependant on where you are based (i.e UK or Malaysia). It is cheaper to buy an airline ticket in the country the trip start from i.e Malaysia so if you can wait until you get there, especially as the exchange rate is great at the minute.

We may be better off financially with cheaper flights (if you are able to book far enough in advance to benefit from the deals) but do you feel we are better off in terms of the overall package, quality, enjoyability etc?
In addition, do you feel that the non low cost carriers have caused the cost of a flexible / club / first tiket, on say BA, in order to fund cheaper ones for them to competer with Ryandare, Cheezeyjet etc?

For the bigger airlines to compete with lower prices, they have to cut employees and service.

Planes are not as clean, delays are more frequent, there is very little food service.

The customer is better off financially, but the service is worse.

give five examples of low cost air lines in domestic ? increased no of air lines in India ?why domestic airlines are increased day by day in India ?

India’s Improving economy ?

A low-cost carrier or low-cost airline is an airline that offers generally low fares in exchange for eliminating many traditional passenger services. The term originated within the airline industry referring to airlines with a lower operating cost structure than their competitors.

While the term is often applied to any carrier with low ticket prices and limited services, regardless of their operating models, low-cost carriers should not be confused with regional airlines that operate short flights without service, or with full-service airlines offering some reduced fares.

DECCAN:
Formerly known as Air Deccan the airline is operated by Deccan Aviation.[2] It was started by Captain G. R. The dream of Captain Gopinath was to enable "every Indian to fly at least once in his/her lifetime." Air Deccan was the first airline in India to fly to second tier cities like Hubballi, Mangalore, Madurai and Visakhapatnam from metropolitan areas like Bangalore and Chennai.

On 25 January 2006, Deccan filed a red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India. Deccan plans to offload 25% of its stake in the initial public offering (IPO) planned for late March or early April.[clarify] 24.5 million equity shares of ten rupees each will be divested at a price to be announced later to raise Rs Cr ($250-300 million) The proceed from the IPO will be used to set up a training centre in Bangalore and a maintenance facility in Chennai. However, due to stock market downturn, Air Deccan’s IPO barely managed to scrape through (after extending the issue closing date), but it was a flop on listing. Its shares were listed at a discount of about 50 per cent to the issue price of Rs 148.65-levels.[citation needed]

Initial flights would be in the southern and western areas of India with the first nine A320s, the remaining 11 aircraft being added in the second year. At the time the airline was in discussion with both Airbus and Boeing on the purchase of between 20 and 40 new aircraft, with a contract to be in place by the end of 2005 and with deliveries to start by 2007 Go Air is wholly owned by the Wadia Group[1], Mumbai based and majority owners of Bombay Dyeing and Britannia Industries. On 18 January 2007, GoAir Chairman Nusli Wadia was found to be carrying a revolver and bullets aboard an Air India flight to Dubai. Though undetected by baggage screeners upon departure, they were detected and confiscated upon his arrival at Dubai.
GoAir and airline reservations system provider Radixx International of Orlando, Florida on January 24, 2007, jointly announced that Radixx had taken over all reservations and passenger management functions from GoAir’s previous vendor

It took delivery of its first Airbus A320 aircraft on 28 July 2006 and received six aircraft during 2006. Nine more aircraft were delivered in 2007 taking the total to 15. The carrier has set a target of serving approximately 30 Indian cities by 2010 with a fleet size of 40 A320 and A321 aircraft. The airline will receive all 100 A320 family aircraft by 2016

It is wholly owned by Jagson International. [1] In 2006 they announced plans to expand their services to 9 cities, using leased Airbus A321-200 aircraft.
Jagson have withdrawn plans to launch a nationwide scheduled low-cost airline by mid-2006 and plan to continue as a regional airline.

JETLITE:
The airline was established on 20 September 1991 and began operations on 3 December 1993 with two Boeing 737-200 aircraft as Sahara Airlines. Initially services were primarily concentrated in the northern sectors of India, keeping Delhi as its base, and then operations were extended to cover all the country. Sahara Airlines was rebranded as Air Sahara on 2 October 2000, although Sahara Airlines remains the carrier’s registered name. On 22 March 2004 it became an international carrier with the start of flights from Chennai to Colombo. It is part of the major Sahara India Pariwar business conglomerate. The uncertainty over the airline’s fate has caused its share of the domestic Indian air transport market go down from approximately 11% in Janua

low cost would have less security than full cost and more chance of losing luggage. Also less staff when u ring them up.
