coupons for expedia.com?

Dec-13-2009 By admin

I am book a flight for late january. Does anyone know any coupon codes to use on expedia.com?

http://www.discountwild.com/Travel/Expedia.com-money-off-codes/index.html has them

I saw a couple of deals that looked good late last night, but were gone today. When I called the actual hotel, they told me that those deals did not guarantee the room.?. Anybody.

I use Hotwire almost exclusively for booking hotel rooms. I have booked over 30 room/nights over the past 3 years and have not had one problem. And I have saved a ton of $$. I can’t speak to Expedia or Priceline (although I have used Priceline a couple of times for car rentals). I think it’s the only way to travel!!

Hey. Today I purchased a round trip plane ticket on line, using expedia.com. I’ve never done it before, and im sorta confused. I just printed off a copy of the itinerary and one of my vouchers. The day of my flight, do I just go to the airport and get the actual tickets then, or are they gonna give me like a print off of the tickets online. Im just confused about the process. Also, how do you know what your confirmation number is, the only number I recall seeing, is my itinerary number? Any advice from someone who’s been through this process before would be very helpful. Thanks so much.

I’ve bought several tickets using expedia, and whether you get a ticket or not depends upon the flight: I’ve had actual tickets sent by Fed-ex, and I’ve had them be electronic tickets, where I just needed to check in with a confirmation number. Your itinerary number is something different. If I were you I’d probably call expedia and verify you actually have an electronic ticket. (Geez — we look like twins!)

Hey everyone,
I am fuming today because I found out that the flight I booked from SF to New Delhi for this summer is now only $730, and I paid $798 earlier this month. I’ve heard that Orbitz has price assurance, but I don’t know about Expedia, has anyone else had this happen? I’d be happy with a coupon of the lost amount even. Please help!

Regards,
Brian

Straight from their website:

It’s simple! Expedia guarantees you’re getting the best price. If you should find a better price online for the same trip within 24 hours, Expedia will refund the difference—and give you a travel coupon worth $50.

The Best Price Guarantee covers virtually every part of your trip: flights, Hotels, vacation packages, cruises, rental cars and activities. You won’t find a more comprehensive price guarantee available on any other travel site today. (The difference in airfares must be more than seven dollars ($7.00) per ticketed passenger. Other restrictions apply.)

Just call 1-800-EXPEDIA (1-800-397-3342) within 24 hours of booking and tell our customer support representative where you found the lower price. See details.

I travel bout 6 times a year to fairly far places in the world and I have always used expedia but I have never created an account there.
Are there any advantages on creating an account? Like what are the pros and cons?
thanks!

They send you travel alerts

do they mail the plane tickets? etc.?

Yes, once you pay for your order they mail everything to you in the mail. You have the option to speed it up but it usually takes at the most 3 weeks.

is it working on anyone else’s? it has been down for hours now…

I just used expedia without a problem. Refresh your browser and try again.

Hi ya

I am tryign to book accomodation through discount websites like Expedia,T ravelocity etc… I am travelling in 1 month today, not sure how these sites work, but does it get cheaper the closer it gets to the time of the booking, or if i book now is the price unlikely to get any cheaper?

If anyone knows of any other websites that would be great, I am travelling to Santa Monica from New Zealand so not really familiar with good hotel websites to book on.

Thanks

I can recommend you my accommodation partner. www.roomsnet.com. I have booked with them several times and i get lot of benefits by being a member. Even when you signup you will get 5 GBP loyalty points which you can redeem on your future booking or current booking. Just check and see. Their prices are also very good.

When ever i make a booking with them i always do a price comparison on www.Hotelscombined.com. Even i have redeemed 30GBP loyalty pounds for my last booking because i got 20GBP gift for uploading my trip photos and videos.

Choice is yours.
