Online Tickets and Airline Travel

I received jumper cables as a Christmas present from my mother. The package has never been opened, but I can't find a clear answer on whether or not I can put these in my checked baggage. Thanks!

You almost certainly can put them in your checked baggage. They aren't dangerous in any way and don't violate any of the restrictions against firearms, flammable liquids, etc.

My brother checked a bag full of power tools a month ago and didn't have any problems.

I ususally go to http://www.lasventions.com/specials to find Las Vegas specials . . . what other sites are out there?

Try search at this site:

http://Hotels.klikgue.com/City/Las_Vegas_Nevada.htm

I usually use this site if i want going to trip.

Hope this helps.

I’ll be taking a 90 min flight when I’m 29-30 weeks pregnant, and will have to have my (then) 20 month-old toddler sitting on my lap for the flight, according to the conditions of his ticket.
Does anyone have any suggestions for making myself as comfortable as possible during the flight?
I should add that the airline's rules for travel with an infant means that he can't have his own seat, but must travel on my lap with a special belt that slides onto my belt.

bring a pillow with you to set on your legs. then prop your toddy on your lap more comfortably. have a safe flight.

Try searching "cheapoair.com complaints" at Google and you'll come up with several links…………at first glance things did not look positive.

best of luck to you!

american airlines, northwest airlines, delta airlines, austrian airlines, united airlines any one of those but i really am looking for american, northwest, and delta airlines.

They are all repaints. You can either get a software to repaint your own aircraft. The easier way is just to look online for it. You should be able to find it at one of the following sites.

www.simviation.com
www.avsim.com

Good luck!

I'll be flying alone with my 10 month old daughter (she'll be on my lap) next week, and want some ideas for how to keep her (well, ME) from going crazy. She can't walk yet, but she hates sitting still for very long.
I already know the basics of Air Travel with baby (making sure she's sucking on something so her ears can pop, etc.)… I want to know the lesser known tricks!

We just did with with our son at the same age. We went to Hawaii and it was a 5 hour flight. The key is to talk to your doctor and find out how much Benedryl you should give your daughter. It is suppose to help them to get drowsy. That helped him relax. Another key was to have him suck on a sippy cup during take off and landing. A couple of times he tugged on his ear, but once he had something to suck on he was good. Bring lots of toys that are easy to hang on to. We lost a few things under the seats. I brought one toy that tied to the seat belt and it worked great. Good luck!

Is www.thomascook.in reliable?

At the moment ixigo.com offers the best rates. Also check makemytrip.com , cleartrip.com etc.

I am doing a report on a company for by Principles of Management class for college and I chose Southwest Airlines.

One of the topics is Social Responsiveness, that I am stuck on. I found the companies code of ethics, but our professor wants us to give an example of a recent act of social responsibility that was voluntary by the company. He used the following example…

in 1998 Home Depot established the Timber Task Force to improve worldwide forest practices.

I understand what he is asking for, but I just cannot find a specific example for Southwest Airlines.

SWA is very active in social responsibility activities. Below are links for you to fine a nice variety for your college report.

Hi. I have a flight on US Airways on the 22 but I want to move it to tomorrow night if possible. Is this expensive? How much does it cost? Is it difficult? How do I do it? Thanks.

It all depends on the fare class of the ticket you bought and the penalties pertaining to that fare class, only US Airways can answer your question accurately. The best way and probably only way to do it is to give US Airways a call. Good luck.

Virgin America?

Feb-2-2009 By admin

Is virgin america a good airline and why? i am planning to book a flight next week but i need to know first if it is a good airline

humm…never heard of them before. I work for an airline at Ohare and I work in customer service and have to rebook people all the time on different carriers when our flights cancel and in the 13 years I can't say I've ever booked anyone on them. Guess you would have to do some research.
