Which is better in terms of seat comfort and service?
I'm thinking of flying United Airlines's economy class instead of Northwest this time.
Anyone who has taken both airlines' flights from Singapore to Tokyo Narita? Would like to hear your opinion. I'm only choosing between these 2 airlines so please don't recommend SIA as it's out of my budget. Thanks.
Both Carriers flight depart early in the morning from SIN to NRT (since this is a connecting flight from SIN to LAX/SFO/ORD/JFK - USA via NRT. Thorough Security Screening and you're required to arrived minimum 3 hours for check in at Changi Airport) and the flight duration from SIN to NRT is 7 Hours and 25 Minutes.
United Airlines Depart for NRT at 7.15am using Boeing 777-200 with 3 Classes Configuration. Economy Class seats are 2 x 5 x 2. IFE - Economy passenger have their individual video screens, but without AVOD.
Northwest Airlines Depart for NRT at 6am using Airbus A330-200 with 2 Classes Configuration. Coach Class seats are 2 x 4 x 2. IFE - Coach passenger have their individual video screens, including Audio Video On Demand (AVOD).
Both Carriers' are using relatively new aircrafts and they provide Meal - Breakfast and light refreshment during the 7 Hours and 25 Minutes flights to NRT. The Inflight service for both Carriers' are good.
Make sure you go to bed Early prior to your check-in at Changi Airport and arrived at Changi Airport 1 for Northwest Airlines & Changi Terminal 3 for United Airlines as early as 3am for their strict Security Screening since this are for for outbound Flights to USA.
