im thinking around 1,000$ should be okay. my hotel is convered and some meals are convered too in my package. do you think 1,000$ will be enough for some lunchs and going out as well as some gifts for my family?
i will be in london then we take a bus and ferry to paris.

If all your transportation, housing, etc. are already covered. Then, yes, $1,000 USD should be enough for eight days, if you are frugal. Remember, the euro is worth a lot more than the dollar. A friend just got back from Germany and said he paid about $1.60 on average for one euro. At current exchange rate, $1,000 USD = 700 EUR, which is 87.5 euro a day, plus exchange fees. Figure about 10 -30 euro a day for economy lunches, water or sodas/snacks, a souvenier t-shirt around 10-15 euro, clubbing will be pretty expensive, admissions to exhibits/museums 10-20 euro, that kind of thing. I spent 900 euro for pocket money for 14 days in Germany last year. But, the exchange rates were better then and I spent on the low end except at Oktoberfest. Hope this helps, have a good time.

Hotwire.com…. Is extremely rude. We booked 2 rooms for our family with kids and they gave us a hotel with 2 rooms that are on different floors. When I spoke to them and supervison, they were rude and told me, you get what you get. They were so unbelieviably rude and obnoxious. I never had trouble with expedia or travelocity. They said pool, no pool. They are lied over and over and ruining our vacation. How do they get away with this and what can we do, they took our money? What can we do?

File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and definetely don't recommend them to anyone. Your greatest revenge is not giving them your business. Good luck!

I cant find a list rating all the airlines in the world, I just want someone to find such a list for me or answer with credible sources, plz. I am looking for Air Jamaica specifically though.

Check out Skytrax for airline reviews and ratings. It's the world's largest passenger opinion and rating service for the airline industry. Air Jamaica gets a three star (out of five) rating, which isn't bad, but not great:

I live in michigan and I’m trying to find reasonably cheap tickets for my family. I am going with my 4 children, including myself, the parent. they are all under the age of 18 and I’m looking forward to going to a cruise in the bahamas, mexico, jamaica, or california tickets with a hotel, possibly even Florida. We have NEVER traveled before, believe it or not.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Thank You.

*Note* I’m looking for price ranges around 200\person if possible

http://www.kayak.com is the best airline website I have found so far.
