I wasnt sure about whether or not a nintendo ds was allowed to be played on the delta airlines plane while traveling. It is a long ride, and I wanted to play my ds, so can someone please tell me if it is allowed?

It is definitely allowed. I bring a DS with me on flights. Just pay attention to when you should turn it off and you'll be fine!

I wana say how can I go usa from continental airlines.

Continental has non-stop flights from New Dehli to their hub in Newark NJ. Just search their website.

Northwest Airlines offers service from most of the US to New Dehli and Hyderabad, usually connecting with KLM in Amsterdam.

i want to know if i took a car from wisconsin to california how much would it cost me food , gas and Hotels all combined in one any answers?
i am sorry i must of typed too fast i meant drove

Ok My theory is that I am going to drive this car that gets 20 miles to the gallon from Green Bay to San Diego which is 2183 miles. If I drive an average of 70 mph the car would be on the road for about 31 hours. factoring gas at $3.75 a gallon at 20 miles per gallon, it would take 109 gallons or roughly $408. I would drive 10 hours a day so I would need two nights lodging at the Super 8. That would be roughly $60 per night. As for food, I would factor $20 a day because I would take a break to stretch and get a couple good meals….so here are my totals
Gas $408
Food $60 ( 3 days)
Hotel $120 ( 2 nights)

Total $568

I know you cannot know the name of the hotel but has anyone used this? I want to go to toronto canada

Please help me understand how Skywest Airlines and Chautauqua Airlines are also United Express, Delta Connections, etc.? Which one is better? If I wanted to fly for Express/Connections would I interview through Skywest/Chautauqua or Delta/United. I don't get it. Are the salaries the same for all of them? If so, what are the salaries.
Also, when you get hired by an airline, do you get to choose Boeing vs Airbus, or at least a preference?
And lastley, if I went to college and while in college got my Commercial twin engine instrument, what jet training school should I go to?
Thanks!

They are all pretty much the same. Delta and United's regional both operate with Sky west. Chautauqua Airlines is an airline based in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. It operates scheduled passenger services on more than 700 flights daily to 98 airports in 31 states, Washington, D.C. and Canada through feeder services under the names Delta Connection for Delta Air Lines, American Connection for American Airlines, Continental Express for Continental Airlines, United Express for United Airlines, and US Airways Express for US Airways.Sky West Airlines is one of two airlines owned by Sky West, Inc. - the other being Atlantic Southeast Airlines. It is a North American regional airline headquartered in St. George, Utah, flying to 154 cities in 43 states, Canada, and Mexico. The airline serves as a feeder airline, operating under contract with various major carriers. It flies as United Express on behalf of United Airlines, as Delta Connection on behalf of Delta Air Lines, and as Midwest Connect on behalf of Midwest Airlines.

Salaries varies. If you fly a beech craft as a first officer you can make as much as 24k a year. A five year captain on a CRJ-700 can make around 45k a year.

here's a great website for ATP training and a boost start to regional airline.http://www.atpflightschool.com/

i booked reservations for a hotel for 2 nights on travelocity.com. does that booking go straight to hotel or do i have to call the hotel?

Have a confirmation number? all done. Hotels do not need confirmation like airlines do (to make sure the flights are on time)

You dont' have to call anyone. Just arrive with your information… but if you want to feel secure in your booking…

Depends on how you booked it.

was it a "good buy" hotel?

it may take a while for the hotel to get the reservation.

Travelocity will always have the information.

There are two ways travelocity can book a hotel room for you:

a "SABREIZED" hotel or a consolidated hotel

The consolidated hotel is a room that Travelocity has already bought from the hotel- they buy them in bulk.

On a consolidated hotel, the hotel charges Travleocity, and then Travleocity charges you.

on a "SABREIZED" hotel- you have booked a room directly through the SABRE reservations system. All travelocity did was plug you into SABRE, which is then plugged into the hotel computer systems.

Most likely, if the hotel is a "direct connect" participant with SABRE, and you bought a SABRIZED hotel, the hotel already has your reservation.

If not- the hotel may take a bit to get the information into thier systems.

On consolidated hotels- don't call the hotel directly in the event of a problem. If you have a problem, Travelocity won't take respondsibility because you did not contact them.
If something goes wrong, you want to have notes on Travelocity's records that you called in and told them of the problem.

I dont' see any problem with calling BOTH- but if there are any changes, ect- go through Travelocity.

If you call the hotel and think there is a problem ask them to DO NOTHING AT THIS TIME, and then call Travelocity- have them fix it.

If I purchase plane tickets from cheaptickets.com will I be able to change flight dates if I needed to? If so, how would I go about doing it????

Most of the time, changes are permitted, but you will have to pay a fee (or fees).

At Delta Air Lines, to change a domestic ticket, it's $75. If the ticket was issued by a travel agency (cheaptickets, expedia, orbitz, etc) there is also a $20 external ticketing charge.

Also keep in mind that there could be a difference in fare. Who knows what that could be as it would depend on what fare class you were originally booked in, compared to what is available on the day you want to reissue your ticket.

Of course, I just said most of the time. Unfortunately, sometimes changes can't be made. Online travel sites often buy tickets in bulk. When a bulk ticket has been issued, we at Delta cannont change them.
