Well I have an interview with Continental Airlines in like 2 days… I do know the basics of the "do and dont do" But I need more tricks of the trade to definitely win the panel of HR personnel I'm going up against on-Everyone has told me to get KIKI WARD's book which definitely will what everyone states will get me the job -But I can't get the book due to every BORDERS I go to just doesnt have it and when I do find one that has it , it'll take up to 3-4 days…Thats not good enough I have only 2 days…And i'm already freaken out !!! I even went to AMAZON and they have 4 books left but it will take them 3-4 days for shipment and thats the fastest shipping they can do. So anyway my question(s) are is there anyone who is a flight attendant that works for CONTINENTAL or any other airline that can give me more tricks of the trade to win over the panel of HR personnel and also if anyone has kiki ward's book to scan the overview for me of Continental. That would be most appreciated.
The best thing to always do when you go on an interview is research the company beforehand.
This will not only prepare you but it will also give the interviewer an idea that you are very serious about obtaining a job.
There is not really any "tricks of the trade" when it comes to interviewing. However it really depends on how you present yourself. So with that in mind you should:
Be yourself.
Be honest. Do not lie this will come back to haunt you in the worst way.
Listen carefully.
Ask questions.
Be prepared to give detailed responses to the Interviewer's question.
By doing all of the above you will shine without any doubt.
Take it from me, I have been on both sides of the fence (I have been both the Interviewer and Interviewee). And the advice I have given you works without fail!

I booked with Delta Airlines to go to America in June. I specifically asked what their baggage policy was- was i allowed one or two bags. The assurred me i was allowed two suitcases per passenger. However, i went onto their website just there and it said "as of May 5th we will only be accepting one bag per passenger". I called them up, and they denied ever saying that I could carry two bags- and i cant prove it. Who is right? What can i do?
Rules are subject to change, just like airfares.
Are you sure they are limiting your checked baggage allowance? or are they simply charging you for the second bag?
Basically, if you can't prove it…why bother?

your parents deserve it! but make sure everything is done and reserved so ur parents wont have any trouble while getting away. massages are also a good idea for both

While visiting India in December, we are planning to take Air Deccan flights between Chennai-Delhi and the Jabalpur-Delhi sectors.How is the reputation of this airline.Are there any other better and economical Air Travel options for these sectors ?
My dear friend, since Air Deccan is now a part of Kingfisher Airlines therefore you can trust this as one of the best, coz Kingfisher maintains good record ever since they started, they may not be very economical coz Kingfisher is considered to be an expensive Airlines.
I am thinking of purchasing a hotel off of Hotwire.com and I am a little leary about doing it since they dont tell you the hotel name. Has anyone stayed in any hotel purchased off of there? My sister works for them. You go a big group interview where you get up and tell why you want to be a flight attendant. DO NOT say that it has always been your dream… come up with something funny and interesting so you stand out. She talked about being fired and dumped in the same month so that got people laughing. If you are chosen (from what I can tell they are not too picky) you go to training in Salt Lake City for a month (unpaid). You will take a lot of tests and train for different things. If you make it through that then they will assign you a base city, you move there, and start work.
