I'm trying to get to Continental Airlines Arena in Eash Rutherford, New Jersey. What is the best public transportation method or directions to reach there and if possible, approximately how long would the travel take? (I am in NYC)

Thank you.
East* Rutherford, NJ

New Jersey Transit Bus 351 direct from the Port Authority Bus Terminal (42nd Street & 8th Ave) to Continental Airlines Arena.

Be sure to buy a round trip ticket in the PABT before you start the trip.. the bus does not take cash.

We are a family of four (girl 8 & boy 4) we wnat to go there on Xmas or New Year’s eve. Thanks

There is no such thing as free or discounted tickets to Disney World. Sorry. In 2009 Disney is launching a celebration that will allow a person, on their birthday, admission to one theme park for the day. Beware of any place that offers free or discounted tickets. Disney tickets are linked to guests by their fingerprints. Disney has started this as a way of preventing tickets from being switched around. Also keep in mind that tickets expire 14 days from their first use, so even if you were to find tickets on Ebay, for example, chances are by the time you bought them, received them and got to Disney they would be expired. You will see a significant drop in price if you buy multiple days on your ticket vs just a 1 day ticket. The more days you buy, the cheaper per day the ticket becomes.

Hotels you will easily be able to find deals on. I recommend staying on Disney property because of all the perks. Just head over to Disney’s website http://www.disneyworld.com and start searching through the Hotels. The value season is the cheapeast season and rooms start at $82 a night then. That is for the All-Star resorts and the Pop Century. I suggest the latter, it has it’s own bus as opposed to the All-Stars which share a bus causing overcrowding at times.

Anyone that says that ticket prices vary is wrong. Ticket prices do not fluctuate with the seasons like the hotels do.

Make sure you purchase your tickets from Disney directly, a Disney Store or a reputable travel agent.

BTW those are the absolute busiest times of the year, and you will be paying a fortune for rooms…

I just bought air tickets from orbitz.com. This is my first time buying plane tickets this way, also first time using a site like this. Can anyone tell me thier experiences?

Also, can I still check in online at the airlines website prior to going to the airport?

No problems at all.

And yes, if you have your Reservation Code (locator) from the airline, you can check-in through their web-site

I am flying from Seattle (maybe even Bellingham, WA) to San Diego for a military boot camp graduation and was wondering if there are any special discount codes anyone has?
Thanks

The military should provide that for you, For individuals the codes are non tranferable.

I want to fly on Virgin America to San Diego in March, so I need to know if Northwest Airlines delivers bags fast, as my connection doesn't give me a great amount of time.

I fly through San Francisco a lot and it usually will take about 30 minutes or so to get your luggage, you never know for sure how long it will take. I'm sure it depends on how many flights arrive around the time yours does, it never hurts to give yourself some extra time when you're trying to make a connection.
